Material Planner

·
Previous experience with MRP/ERP applications.

·
5 Z4 ]$ }' z# @  i! t+ f# X  XProactively plan and procure both direct and indirect materials in support of daily production

·
Proactively identify, resolve and communicate potential supply concerns with supplier(s) and Company personnel as required.

·
/ R+ J) X1 n" h7 Z& S$ u8 G9 V+ t8 bIdentify, implement and maintain effective / cost efficient transportation lanes for supplier base.

·
) K# c3 s+ W, ~1 t$ W! MPurchase Order generation and maintenance.

·
: y& F* [% N$ w  I7 pRoutinely conduct market surveys through the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.

·
  h; v- h0 u5 K6 }0 eAssist with identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·
, m. B0 \! G9 s( h8 EAssist with inventory reconciliation efforts as required.

·
$ K& F8 \/ M, {0 K# t) G9 ~: ]; k+ ZDemonstrate a solid understanding of TS/ISO processes.

·
2 ~& Q, v" \. A3 dDemonstrate a solid understanding of MS applications in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.

·
$ g+ Q4 d9 h5 u5 H5 Q; B) ]' fA minimum of four (4) years direct Material Planner / Scheduler experience and/or
$ E- B1 S. q& urelated post-secondary education

, Q! |/ {! n3 \  P: x# p3 ]2 p. QPreference will be given to candidates who possess Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent post-secondary education
