Mowing

) j0 G6 {$ Z0 g  N9 _2 @* Mow frequently - once every 4-7 days is best for most lawns. More may be required in the spring.
* H4 i/ Q: c* Z2 |5 f* Mow at a height of 2 1/2 - 3" (6-7.5cm). Coastal Bentgrass lawns are best kept at 1-1 1/2" (2.5-4cm).
7 w. V/ X. j* U* Always keep your mower blade sharp for a clean cut. We recommend sharpening your blade 2 times per year.
* Never remove more than 1/3 of the leaf blade at one time.
* When possible, mow your lawn when it is dry.
* Mulch clippings back into the lawn as a natural fertilizer.
* Mow in different patterns to avoid tire rutting.


Watering

*Apply 1" (2.5cm) of water once per week, preferably in the early morning.
*Avoid afternoon watering to prevent loss of water through evaporation, and avoid watering in the evening to reduce fungal disease incidence.
*Sandy soils may require more frequent watering. Apply about 3/4"(2cm) of water once every 4-5 days.
