Material Planner

·
Previous experience with MRP/ERP applications.

·
: U/ O1 b$ o) W7 r- L: E: AProactively plan and procure both direct and indirect materials in support of daily production

·
- j5 j& v5 J! o5 cProactively identify, resolve and communicate potential supply concerns with supplier(s) and Company personnel as required.

·
$ o7 x8 `# d6 T% u4 iIdentify, implement and maintain effective / cost efficient transportation lanes for supplier base.

·
Purchase Order generation and maintenance.

·
Routinely conduct market surveys through the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.

·
Assist with identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·
0 J. H7 a6 H9 Q, {Assist with inventory reconciliation efforts as required.

·
3 ?6 e; X: n9 Q' |3 d* oDemonstrate a solid understanding of TS/ISO processes.

·
9 p: [, d; H5 H* _  o, O$ {Demonstrate a solid understanding of MS applications in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.

·
5 I. D# n% t2 B1 X& W7 vA minimum of four (4) years direct Material Planner / Scheduler experience and/or
6 g9 P8 j6 {! U6 [: }$ \/ Nrelated post-secondary education

·
+ J; {6 V; H' M  y' _7 XPreference will be given to candidates who possess Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent post-secondary education
