I think few landlord encourages that. but generally it is ok if they don\'t know. two things needed to be considered: 1. you may not have enough space. 2. normally no floor drain in apartment.

thank you for the response.  i am currently looking for apt. to rent. because i have baby with me, i also look for babysitter who can take care of baby together after i come back from work. because of this, i think it\'s better to find a place that has many chinese people so it\'d be easier to find a babysitter who can come to my apt. in the evening. i wonder if 405 waterloo st. has many chinese people living there?

thank you for any advice on my situation! i\'ve never lived in london (or canada) before. How cold will it be in coldest time? what kind of clothes should I prepare for myself and my baby? I am thinking of down coat, is that enough?
